The Upper Lakes
This lake is near the Plitvice National Park, and you can reach it by the small but fun boat trips from Pier 1 to Pier 2. The walkaways and the forest are quite famous around this lake. So, it’s a good place for tranquil strolls alone or with your traveling partner.
The Lower Lakes
You must be active enough to reach the lower lakes. They are accessible more quickly if you can hike for around 3-4 hours. Meanwhile, you will witness beer shops, boat trip stops, and small eateries around the hiking trail. But ensure that you remember that swimming is strictly prohibited here.
Veliki Slap
Now, this is Plitvice National Park’s highest waterfall, located at Plitvica Selo. More easily, you can identify it at the entrance of the Plitvice National Park with some hotels for unplanned stays facilities.
Barac Caves
This is an excellent tour which you can have whenever you are visiting this park. However, at times, there is about one hour of waiting. So, you have to be patient for the guide to give you the green signal to get ready for cave excavation with your family.
Mali Buk
It’s one of the best waterfalls inside the national park. That is because it has colorful water, and the crowd here is comparatively lesser. So, you can enjoy hours here making memories or clicking pictures, or even hoping for a picnic near the waterfall as there’s practically not much crowd to cause any hindrance.
