Family

When you are looking for wonderful family tours, then Croatia is one of the European countries to be that choice. Around June to July, Croatia is one of the finest countries, like the town of children.

This is a well-known fact for the town of Sibenik in Croatia. This town celebrates the International Children’s Festival with so much clamor and fun. Every kid here feels excited to join the games and other activities openly on the road.

Other than that, Croatia is one of those countries that is made up of several archipelagos. Mljet is one of those islands, which is also a national park here. So, here the family holidays to Croatia are always splendid.

You can also visit a small but beautiful island named Vis at the southern end of Croatia with your family. Here you get to enjoy every water sport like swimming, kayaking, and snorkeling. Or you can opt for boat trips to Green Cave – the largest on this island.

The houses aligned on this island are picturesque for clicking beautiful pictures. And the beaches at Vis Island are every family’s top choice with clear water lapping across the shore.

Other things drawing young kids’ attention are the museums and quirky tourist attractions. The Sun Salutation and Museum of Illusion at Zagreb are premier examples to have loads of fun.  This Sun Salutation is a whacky creation by the local architect, Nikola Basic. This 22-meter dial collects Sun’s energy during the day. Then it plays a sound show as soon as the Sun sets. It also illuminates the seashore views at night for kids to dance around.

Old Dubrovnik and Korcula towns offer better safety for children. As these towns are car-free, you can allow your kids to roam around without any harm in your way. The city walls of Dubrovnik open at 8 am. So, if you want to enjoy the ancient fortifications of the old town of Dubrovnik, then you can take them there for an early morning stroll.

You can also explore Lokrum Island, which is at a kissing distance from Dubrovnik’s city center. It is famous for green and tranquil botanical gardens. At the beaches here, you also get a chance to spend your day with ease and comfort. That is because it has every provision from restrooms, refreshments to showers.

Then you can visit Diocletian’s Palace, Plitvice Lake, Peristil—the eye-catching courtyard around the Temple of Jupiter at Split. You can easily enjoy sunny weather with your family on foot while exploring Split, which is also by far the second-largest city in Croatia. It is near Brac, Vis, and Solta islands. So, you can manage the trip together, if your kids love roaming around!

To top it up, in 2019, Croatia also won an award under the category of “Amazing Travel Experiences of the Year.” This was because of the Game of Throne tours famous in Dubrovnik; otherwise known for being the Pearl of the Adriatic Sea.

So honestly, you don’t need a second thought to make Croatia the next destination for your family holiday and we’ll help you design it!
